Legal
Terms and
conditions
The rules of this website and of the relationship with the studio: what you can expect from us and what we expect from you. Written in plain language, with nothing copied from other sites.
Last reviewed: September 2026.
1. Who is behind this website
This site belongs to Custom Design, a web design and development studio based in Cali, Valle del Cauca, Colombia. You can write to us at [email protected] or call +57 310 488 7362, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (Colombia time).
2. What this website is for
This site explains what we do and shows work we have already published. It is not a shop: nothing is bought here and no services are paid for online. The information we publish is for guidance only and is not a binding offer: prices, timelines and scope are agreed in writing in each proposal.
3. How a project is commissioned
Every project starts with a written proposal covering the scope, the schedule, the price and the payment terms. That document is what counts: if anything on this website said otherwise, the signed proposal prevails. We do not work on terms that are not in writing.
4. Fair use of the site
You may use the website and the form to ask about our services. You may not use them to send unsolicited advertising, illegal or offensive content, to impersonate someone else, or to try to damage the site or access what you are not entitled to. Automated and abusive submissions are filtered and blocked.
5. Content and intellectual property
The texts, design, code and photographs on this site are ours. Our clients' logos and trademarks belong to them and are published with their permission. You are welcome to quote us and link to us; what you may not do is copy the content and sell it as your own. If you own a brand shown here and would rather we removed it, write to us and we will.
6. What we deliver in a project
The rights over what we deliver (design, code, content) are agreed in each project's proposal. This website neither grants nor removes rights over those deliverables: that always stays in the document signed by both parties.
7. Third-party links and services
We link to services we do not control: WhatsApp, our clients' websites, Google and Cloudflare, among others. We are not responsible for what those third parties do or for the content of their sites.
8. Availability of the site
We work to keep the website online at all times, but we cannot promise 100%: it depends on external providers and on maintenance work. If there is an interruption, we fix it as soon as we can. This is an informational site and its availability does not entitle anyone to compensation.
9. Liability
We are responsible for the work we do and for the information we publish, and we correct it when we find a mistake. If you spot a wrong figure or a broken link, tell us and we will fix it. We are not responsible for decisions taken based solely on what is read here, or for failures that do not depend on us. Nothing in this document limits the rights that consumer law grants you.
10. Governing law and disagreements
These terms are governed by Colombian law. If a disagreement arises, the first step is to talk it through directly; if that does not resolve it, the courts of Cali, Colombia, have jurisdiction.
11. Changes to these terms
When the rules change, we update this text and the review date shown at the top.
Note: This document is an informational text written by the studio itself to explain how we work. It is not legal advice and it does not replace the advice you may get from a lawyer.
