CD Contenido

The four content types of an association site — news archive, plenary minutes, partner offers and documents — with their fields and a mandatory image.

Version
1.0.1
WordPress · PHP
Works with WordPress 6.4 or later and PHP 8.0 or later.

The problem it fixes

When every section is written as an ordinary post, everything ends up mixed: a news item next to plenary minutes and an offer with no expiry date.

Plenary minutes need a proposal number, a period and a PDF; a partner offer needs an entity, a website, a phone and a start date; a document needs its date and its file. None of that fits the WordPress editor.

And a news item without an image leaves holes on the homepage: publishing must be blocked until the image is there.

What it does exactly

  • Four content types of its own — news archive, plenary minutes, partner offers, and documents — each with its own URL: /hemeroteca/, /plenos/, /convenios/ and /documentos/.
  • Real categories created on activation: Noticias, Actualidad, Comunicados, Notas de prensa, Tribuna and Radio; plus document types: Estatutos, Circulares, Actas, Memorias and Formularios.
  • Fields per type, with a media-library picker: proposal number, summary, session and PDF for minutes; entity, website, phone, start date and PDF for offers; date and file for documents.
  • The featured image is mandatory in the news archive: without it the entry stays a draft and a notice appears when you come back.
  • Its own columns in the lists: thumbnail, proposal number and whether there is a PDF, entity and start date.
  • Everything is published in the WordPress API (/wp-json/wp/v2/hemeroteca, /plenos, /convenios and /documentos), which is where the public site reads it from.
  • It does not touch the theme or the design and it deletes no existing content; if it is uninstalled, what was written stays in the database.

How it looks

This plugin works inside your WordPress and we do not have screenshots of it yet. We would rather leave the gallery out than show a screenshot of a different plugin: when we have them, they will go here.

Install and activate the licence

  1. Upload the plugin

In the WordPress dashboard: Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin. Pick the ZIP you received, install it and activate it.

  2. Paste your key

Open the plugin’s “Licence” tab and paste the key that arrived by email. The settings screens stay open without a licence, precisely so you can paste it.

  3. Press “Activate”

The plugin checks the key against the server and shows you the expiry date and the domain it is tied to. From that moment it works.

The licence is yearly and per domain

Twelve months from issue, one domain at a time. If you move to a new site, release the domain in your panel and paste the same key on the new one: the expiry date does not change. Development domains (localhost, *.local, *.test, *.ddev.site and similar) validate without using up the activation, so you can test without tying the key.

Price and renewal

Yearly subscription, 12 months

€69

Renewing adds twelve months to the expiry date you already have, and you do it yourself from the panel: there is no automatic charge. You get an email reminder first.

Frequently asked questions

Can I move it to another site?

Yes. Release the domain in your panel and paste the same key on the new site. The expiry date does not restart: you keep the time it had left, and if you get it wrong you can release it again and go back.

What happens if I do not renew?

The plugin stops doing its job, but nothing breaks: the site keeps running, your settings are still saved, and a notice with the renewal link appears in the WordPress dashboard. The day you renew, it works again.

How many domains can I have?

One per licence. If you want the same plugin on two sites you need two licences; the pack also gives one key per plugin, not one key for everything.

Can I try it first?

There is no trial version and no free period. Before you buy, this page tells you what it does and what it does not; if you still have a specific question, write to [email protected] and we will answer it, no strings attached.
